As a small team, we can't provide round-the-clock support, particularly during the busy summer months when we're often out catching cats. To help ensure animals still get the assistance they need, we've compiled this list of charities and organizations across Crete. If you're outside the Rethymno area, we kindly ask that you reach out to one of these groups directly.

No matter where you are on Crete, we highly recommend posting on the Animal Lovers on Crete Facebook page with clear photos and the exact location of the cat or kitten in need as many people can offer help and suggestions.

For urgent medical emergencies or cases of animal abuse, please contact a local vet. Most vets can be found by searching 'vet' on Google Maps in your area, and most speak English. They can often liaise with local authorities or the police, who are legally required to provide assistance.
